The professional journey behind every custom plush
Every Progimpex plush starts with a clear method: creative design, technical feasibility, and certified production. Since 1998 we’ve refined this process to deliver brand-ready, CE-compliant products that feel as good as they look.
Step 1: Concept and collaboration
Every project begins with a vision — a storybook character, a company mascot, or a campaign idea. We align on the audience, size targets, use case (retail, promo, loyalty, pharma), and compliance requirements. This phase defines what the character must express and what the final product must achieve.
Step 2: The first sketch
The sketch is the blueprint. It locks facial expression, proportions, and distinctive brand elements. We capture front, side and back views when helpful, so downstream patterning and stitching choices are unambiguous.
Step 3: Color precision with Pantone standards
Color drives recognition. We specify Pantone references and keep them consistent from sample to mass production. This safeguards brand alignment across fabrics, labels, accessories and packaging.
Step 4: Materials that matter
Fabric selection defines the tactile experience, durability and safety. Together we choose from standard plush, short/long pile, fleece, organic or recycled options, plus fillings and trims.
- Purpose: cuddle feel vs. display durability
- Safety: EN-71/GPSR suitability from the start
- Sustainability: organic/recycled choices available
Step 5: From 2D to 3D — prototyping
Pattern making translates the sketch into a stable 3D form. We check balance, seams, stuffing channels, embroidery vs. print, and small-part rules. Each prototype is reviewed for:
- Proportions and silhouette fidelity
- Stitch quality and surface finish
- Embroidery/print accuracy to artwork and Pantone
- Compliance checkpoints (EN-71, GPSR)
We iterate only where it improves quality or safety. Our rule: sample = mass production.
Step 6: The final certified plush
Before approval we validate color, trims, labels, barcodes and packaging. The approved sample becomes the production master. Traceability, QA plans and AQL checks ensure the final run matches what you approved — no surprises.
